@Athome2 , I am so very sorry for your losses and all you are going through. My heart truly breaks for you. You are dealing with so much. I hope you are able to find some kind of support group for moms who have suffered the same loss. Please remember to take care of yourself.

@Athome2 I am so sorry for the loss of your son. No parent should ever have to bury a child. I hope you can find comfort with your family and friends. Of course your son mattered, we are all God's children, we all matter.

I am so very sorry!
Of course your son mattered, and it's tragic. that his young life has ended.
I won't insult you, by pretending I can know your pain, because of course, I can't.
I do wish you and your family, a journey to comfort and peace, and the blessings of happy memories 🌸🌸

Oh my, you have been through so much, dear @Athome2 . I don’t know how people bear up after such loss. I truly don’t. I’ve just sat here and prayed for you and your family. I’m so very sorry—and so very sorry also for our fellow posters who have or who are struggling. ♥️

@Athome2, you have gone through way too many tragedies in just a short period of time. My heart goes out to you for such suffering. You loved your son and surely did everything that you could do for him. I can't imagine your pain. It will never go away, but time might just smooth out the rough edges of your grief. ![]()

Dear at home-- I am so terribly sorry for your horrendous loss. I understand your pain because my one-and-only niece died of a drug overdose two weeks ago. She was 24 and had gone through rehab several years ago and was doing so well. She graduated from college with honors and was enrolled in graduate school. Why she returned to drugs after so much success and after more than five years is a mysterious tragedy.
So many American families have been devastated by these grievous drug deaths. My niece was an only child. My brother and sister-in-law are destroyed. I will soon be traveling to stay with them for awhile. This is another pandemic but one we haven't come close to eradicating. To the O/P all I can say is many share your pain and wish you peace.
