Anyone here a "deep sigher"? I am married to one. It's kind of funny. He says he doesn't complain but oh those deep sighs. It's kind of a family joke. Smile

Seriously, when I find myself complaining too often, I start counting my blessings out loud.

When I see those lists of "The Ten Traits of Obnoxious People," excessive complaining is always on there.

When I am able to avoid the source of that which makes me unhappy, no complaints.

Absolutely! That's it in a nutshell.

If I don't complain - or gripe --- I feel it is very bad for me --- as it will all bottle up and eventually my head will actually explode!

"The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)"

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

Hello lamppost,
What cha knowing?
I've come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.

Got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.
