a book called Wool by Hugh Howey. It was a Kindle special (volumes 1-5 omnibus) a little while ago and I though what the heck it's two bucks. Not my usual kind of book at all, but I can afford to explore new genres with the Kindle daily deal offers. This was a totally unexpected surprise. I had a little trouble with the beginning because you don't have a clue what the heck is going on, but keep reading and you will be reading every spare moment. I was thrilled to find out that volume 6 was available and ordered it right away. I also purchased Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley which was excellent as well. This is historical fiction with a little romance if you like that sort of book.

I often used to stand in the book store trying to determine which book I would love and was sometimes dissappointed. I get so happy about buying one I wasn't at all sure I would like and end up loving it. Just though I'd pass on the titles in case anyone is on the search for a good book.
