OK, so I'm saving all kinds of money today (thank you QVC and HSN).

On HSN their 'special' is lightbulbs!

On QVC their 'special' is hooks!

So boring...Wouldn't be so bad but they both follow that up with cleaners, mops, etc.......

OK, I'll be honest....I did buy the hooks (but only one set)....I already own the mops HSN is selling....

Come on QVC I'm bored....but happy I'm saving money! My daughters are happy I'm not spending their inheritance, so I guess I just need to 'settle down' and relax and change the channel.

I was honestly shocked to see lightbulbs being offered on HSN at all, let alone as a TS.

I am having the opposite problem. I have clearance sales which are not helping me. I keep paying off my credit card but then someone posts up a value or event price and I just have to stock up.

Thank goodness for tax refunds.

Ok so you have a mop for the broom closet but do you have one for the gift closet?I think you should stock up as there is less than 12 months till Christmas.

When I first saw this thread's header, I thought, oh oh, this thread isn't long for the world! You can all guess why. Then it was just Sweet Annabelle lamenting about the poor choices on the shopping channels today. Lol! I am deliriously happy every day I am given a reason NOT to buy. But if you're like me, you'll forget where you put the thing when Christmas comes.

Right now I'm trying to find gifts I bought for my daughters and grandchildren. I didn't wrap them (they didn't seem to get to Florida) and I don't know where they are here.

Ever put something in 'a safe place' and it turns out to be so 'safe' you can't remember where that 'safe' place is? Now when I say 'safe' I mean I will surely be able to remember where it is.....but..surprise....I forget where the 'safe' place is. (Phew! That was a mind teaser putting that down here).

I have stuff everywhere. I just got back from Florida. You know how you'll be doing something and suddenly you think, "Where is that ??" and go off looking for it? I do that all of the time.

Alas, I actually did find something from QVC to buy today, and I wasn't even watching! I did check the items recently on air, and there was a cool clothes drying rack that caught my eye since I've been looking for one. Did some quick research and found that it was actually a decent price. Oh well, at least it wasn't a total impulse buy and was something I need.
