I just cannot wrap my head around someone's need to create a hostile environment. I've seen it happen over and over.

I guess this just reinforces my desire to stay away from social media in every form. Yes, I know there will be those that say "don't let them get to you", or "focus on the good here" or to "go **** myself".......but, it's just......sad that it's this way.

To be honest, I think that some of the supposedly innocuous posts are an attempt to needle others.

People post things knowing exactly who they are trying to target, and they make a post sound innocent, but it's all passive-aggressive b.s.

Because of that, innocent comments may be construed as "needling," and that--I believe--is part of the reason that "rude" comments occur.

And--of course--some people are just rude.

Sometimes I think we can save ourselves a lot of stress by just smiling at them and walking away.
