All the talk shows and sport commentators do this as well.

I wouldn't mind them talking fast, over each other, or too long...if they would be talking about (and showing) the details of the product, not unrelated silliness.

Too often they chatter on and on and by the end of the presentation have never shown the inside of a bag, both sides, or given the dimensions.  Or fully described and actually pulled out a garment instead of just touching it while it's jammed on the rack with all the other garments.

Another thing that irks me is the producer not coordinating the closeups while the host is describing each color.

Not all hosts are guilty of these things, but many are.  This is one reason I will buy from QVC--because I can see and hear the details, unlike other places.  And before anyone says "check the website for details", the details are often not there either.  Just this morning I was looking for a specific product and checked well over a dozen items that had absolutely no other photos of the product other than one of the outside of it.

I've noticed that too.  Maybe chaos-on-camera attracts younger viewers.

Just one of the reasons I don't watch Susan Graver and a lot of the other hosts and vendors.  Just too annoying and obnoxious to sit and watch.

Re: Just My Opinion

as I have said many times, I quit watching QVC 2003.  However, reading posts and forums, and putting two n two together from the last 2 yrs I did watch.  This is what I think. They used to be more product oriented . And such sticklers for details. This was before internet was huge. The had that ruler out every product.  They went over what product was for, how it worked ..and details such as colors, size and what it came with.  They dressed to sell as well. Professional, nice, and presented so classy. I think of the suits and such the women wore.  The suits and ties even the men wore. The shows were so simple, but classy.  In those days their was a huge comparison in sales tactics between QVC and HSN.  They didn't have to hard sell, HSN did. they knew their stuff from top to bottom, and they came across as respectable, honest, knowledgeable salespeople. They didn't have to try and be our friends.  They sort of earned it over time. Now, it's too comfortable, lol, they try too hard. And doggone it, they talk to much about everything but oroduct. It used to be the product was the star of show.  Now everyone seems to compete to get more likes, Facebook attention, etc. they need to Stop! Rewind, and incorporate their new ideas and medias...but remember what they are in business for..selling not trying to be our best friend.  If I go out to buy a car, I don't want some dressed down, sloppy guy yapping about his vacations, family, the wife, the kids, traffic, their purchases. I want him to show me the car, the details, what I am buying. A person can be pleasant, warm and sell at same time.  One reason I quit was a couple venders and a host, but mainly it got to be too slow. Not enough oroduct in the hour. They started to have a host and a fender, each taking talking time saying the same thing...or competing to,say it, lol@,
