Just A Question About "Sister Wives"

I'm sure this topic has been discussed a number of times, but I just started watching this show. I had never heard of it until this season began.

My question -- what in the world are these people living on??!!!! None of them have jobs - yet they have 4 separate homes which equals 4 mortgage payments and the utility bills that go along with home ownership. They each have a vehicle. And, oh yeah, it must cost a fortune to feed that many kids.

They sit around and talk about how their resources are dwindling. Well, hmmm.

They must have a fairly decent income from the network is all I can come up with.

Sorry if this is old stuff, but I'm just curious.
