July 4th is coming up quick, was wondering if anyone had any plans yet. We were talking again last night and we've got it down to two things but still not sure. Being that the 4th is on a Friday I have a feeling everywhere and everything is going to be crazy. Hope you all have a great July 4th Weekend.

My 4th of July plans are.......working.

I may have a burger sometime during the day, then keep the kitties in before it gets dark.

I'm going to the mountains and spending Thursday-Sunday with all of my kids, their spouses and S/O and two grandchildren. My middle daughter and I have planned it for weeks, we'll be at her house. I've already bought the two little ones so many summer toys, I can't wait to see them.

Hopefully nothing, but that will probably change soon. Would like for it to be a nice, calm day for just me and DH, but it never seems to work out that way.

I'm on call, so I'll have to stay close to home. I'll pick a project from the to do list, since I'll have a 3 day weekend.

We don't do big celebrations anymore except at Christmas. May grill with ourselves or go out to eat. Probably will go to a movie on the 4th because it will probably be empty that day which is good (no annoying talking people.lol). Otherwise my husband works the whole week and weekend except he is off the 4th. The 5th I have my grandkids :-)

Our town plans a fun day every July 4th, starting with a 5K race early morning and ending with two concerts (by ReCreation) and fireworks in the evening. Lots of fun activities throughout the day for all age groups. We always enjoy the festivities.

I'll be out on my balcony with a stack of books & a heavily iced pitcher of tea with lots of lemon. My idea of Heaven all the way.
