It isn't her "political leanings" that I don't like. It is her nasty attitude, know it all, opinionated personality, loud rudeness and her highly inflated sense of importance that turn me off.

I don't recognize Joy at all in your description. My only negative on her is that, like many comediennes, she could never let a joke go, like Monica Lewinsky.

Hey there tansy. How are you and that grand-baby doing? I am basing my opinion on her years on The View when I used to watch it. I am only speaking my truth the way I see it, as are you.

I was a big fan of The View when it started, cody, including Joy.

The grandson is a cheerful whirlwind. the only toys he wants to play with are balls -- all sizes, but all are inflated. Thanks for asking

What bothers me about most of the comments is the fact that the OP has said she likes Joy and if the price had been worth it, she would have enjoyed an autographed photo.

Then the pile-ons about who would want that, use it for a dartboard, etc. Way to put the OP and her enjoyment of an entertainer down.

I find Joy's filthy mouth and mean spirited comments very off-putting.....can't stand to watch her

Hi Lindsays Grandma, Guess you and I are Joy fans. I really enjoyed her when she was on the view. Sure she told some mean jokes but she was also funny to watch. Good luck with your pictures maybe she will get in touch with you.

I do like Joy, always have. The owner of the gallery is well known by many celebrities and other well known people who speak highly of him. I doubt he thought I was a lame brain who he could entice with an autographed picture of anyone in order to sell my lithographs to him. Had the price been acceptable to me and I decided to sell them to him I would have done so with or without anyone's picture. It is called the price is right.

I am sorry this thread went south but don't they usually? For quite some time I have considered leaving the boards as so many others have because of the caustic remarks made by others which takes away the enjoyment of being here.

Well, LG, In the last few days, I agree with you. Whenever I put forth an idea, thought, there are so many ready to pile on that it's barely any fun anymore. I don't even know who they are. I've been reading (mostly not) because I'm so tired of downright rude people. Hang in there.

Sometimes it takes some courage to start a thread here. OP shared an interesting story with us and as usual, it took a turn to nasty. It's easy to see why people don't want to share things here.

Joy Behar's name is in the title so anyone who carries such hate for her could have passed right on by this thread. The hateful comments are not really clever and what's worse, they hurt someone who was just trying to share an interesting story.
