John Aniston who played as Victor Kiriakis on DAYS OF OUR LIVES has passed away at the age of 89.  His daughter, Jennifer Aniston announced it today.  He played as Maggies husband and was the greek tycoon on the show, owning TITAN INDUSTRIES.   I will miss him as he was one of the oldies still getting it done!

He was a gorgeous titan.  My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

May his memory be eternal!

He had the looks and stature of the typical Greek male from the island of Crete, where he was born.  The men of Crete, for some reason, are usually taller than the Greek males of the mainland.  Mr. Aniston's face shape, chin, nose and hairline were a handsome manifestation of the look of many Greek males, especially those from Crete.

He taped more shows, that will air till end of Dec.  His close friend was Telly Savalas, he was Jennifers Godfather.

I remember him from when I watched Days sometimes many years ago. He must have been on that show for a very long time.

He will be missed for sure.  He had a way with delivering zingers!  Since Covid, Jennifer wanted him to stay home for safety reasons, so they made a set of the living room at his OWN home, and the scenes were filmed there. ( little known fact ).  RIP Victor aka John.
