I think she's become a caricature of herself. I find it said because I admire her accomplishments. I think comedy has come to rely more on vulgarity than it used to or maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

I use to could take Joan or leave her until I saw her unleash her nastiness on sweet Annie Dukes on Celebrity Apprentice. I could not believe the ugliness in the boardroom gatherings coming from her all in the name to win that game. She is pure evil and I do believe Johnny Carson witnessed the evil in her too.

SeaGal, "sweet Annie Dukes????????" Yikes she was the biggest witch on the show! Joan wanted to win and reacted to what Annie was doing to her by fighting back. Annie was a pot stirrer who caused her own demise, and DT saw right through her and fired her.

I'm sorry you think Joan is evil. I've seen evil, and she doesn't even come close.

I don't know what Joan said, but I've seen the show Girls. Believe me, there is nothing Joan could say that is any more off putting than what goes on in that show. As for Lena, if she does some of this on purpose, then she can expect whatever comments she gets, and that goes for the times on her show, which is many, where she is completely nude. And if she deliberately wears dresses on the red carpet that will garner negative comments, then she has succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. She usually look atrocious.

I liked the humor of David Brenner. Someone who could make you laugh and not feel ashamed about cracking up.

Joan's work ethic isn't admirable to me. It's pathetic.

When Elizabeth Taylor used to publically express her anger over being called fat by Joan Rivers, I used to think well, what's her problem....she IS fat. I don't think it's funny anymore.

Sunny, its my opinion, I think she is evil. Whatever Annie did or didnt do, she at least has more class in her little finger than Joan could ever wish to have. And Trump was not going to fire his buddy anyway. That wasnt hard to see coming...

Annie Dukes was not portrayed as sweet during that season of Celebrity Apprentice. I can't really be offended by Joan's comments because I didn't catch the segment on Howard's show.
