Love Joan, love her taste in clothes but her home looks like a lovely place to visit but without hardly a spot that looks like anyone's home. Evidently, she loved it, so that makes me happy. I do miss her.

I saw a sort-of documentary once narrated by Joan about this home.  She decorated it to jive with the taste of the former owner, who she said was haunting the home.  Apparently the ghost was happy with how Joan made it look.

Joan was a glamorous woman. Of course she liked to live in glamorous surroundings.  She worked hard all of her life.  She deserved her luxury.  It was the ballroom of lovely old building.  I am sure someone bought it who likes to entertain.  No photo's of kitchen etc.  It also had location, location, location. David Dangle is a lovely gracious man who represents Joan's brand very well. But I still miss Joan Rivers on QVC and Fashion Police.

I felt like I was walking around a museum-like home...expecting to see the red velvet ropes at every corner...

Very opulent.  Climbing those stairs as she got along in age, would've been difficult.  Maybe there was an elevator installed.  I often wondered before her passing, when she was presenting on QVC, why they never gave her a chair instead of having her stand for her shows.  She looked tired at times.

I did love the way she color coordinated her personal clothing.  Though I didn't purchase many of her pins/brooches, she had a knack for style.

This was too over the top and gaudy for me. 

I liked her Connecticut home much better.
