[Domestic Goddess]

I was just watching the "Tavis Smiley Show" on our local PBS station. There was a two part interview with JR shot just a coupke of months ago. You see a softer, gentle side of Joan that a lot of us rarely see on QVC. She even mentions how she were to pass away, how she would want to be remembered... even joking about it. In the light of all that has happened to her and her, and how some people feel about her, I incourage you to take the time and watch the interview. Very enlightening!. Get well soon Joan!

I haven't seen his interview with Joan but Tavis is one of the best interviewers I've ever seen.

She said in this July 9 interview (Part 2) w/Tavis Smiley that she has it in her will - Do Not Resuscitate unless she is capable of performing stand-up for 90 min.! (Being Joan, she also said her attorney tried to get her to go down to 60 min., w/an opening act!). If she was a vegetable or could no longer perform, in other words, she didn't want to live. So I presume Melissa knows this, re: her decision re: life support.

She also did a interview with Imus last month and he thanked her for her donations over the years to his Cattle Ranch for kids with cancer. She is an awesome woman.
