[Rainbows and Roses]

Some of her movies are on today and Queen Bee starts at 2:30 eastern time. It is a great movie. I don't care for her as a person that she was but she was a good actress and she was pretty. Your thoughts?

Who really knows the truth about her personally? Her close friends and family and they have different opinions. She was a good actress who really fought hard for a career and achieved a lot. Unfortunately, a lot of people based their opinions of her on that dreadful movie "Mommie Dearest" based on her daughter's book which may be true or not. Joan also did a lot of charitable work. Was she an abusive mother? I don't know but I suspect, in Christina's case, she was.

Yes I did miss the first one started..........I am sure it won't be my last time........there are a lot to read........no one has to post here I am going to her thread. I just wanted people to watch Queen Bee if they have never seen it.........

Anyone Torch Song right now? They are doing a musical in black face....could not do that today! This movie is from 1953.

She had great legs for a woman circling 50 but I'll never understand those eyebrows.

She had a fab body! Those legs were amazing! I heard she was a fanatic on exercise and skin care.

I watched her last night and earlier this week in the original ""The Women"" with Norma Shrearer. That one is my favorite.

Just finished watching Queen Bee for the first time. I did not know the ending and it was a surprise! I think Joan did a great job in that film. Now on to Autumn Leaves..... Getting nothing done today!
