Jim Lovell passes away

Jim Lovell passed on (97 years of age). 

Apollo 13 Mission which did not have a moon landing due to damage to the craft.  

America is proud of you Jim.

Thank you for posting this sad news.  I did not know but just turned TV News on ... I live in Chicago area.  His son and daughter-in-law lived in our neighborhood for a short time....nice family.  I guess Lovell's wife passed away two years ago. His son was a Chef and opened a restaurant in the area where Jim Lovell would come.  It has now closed.

RIP, Mr. Lovell....good man.
