Jigsaw puzzles are about (Jan) to make an appearance in my LR once again. LOL. I've put away the crochet projects for a rest, and some of the planner things I have, but the puzzles are calling to me. Then that darn "White ...." catalog came. How do they know these things? LOL. So..........maybe pretty soon I'll need to get the card table up here. Too cold in the basement.
It has to be after the first of the year though. You know, decorations and all. LOL
Anyone else thinking of doing some this winter?

I like crosswords.

I get emails from a "shopper". And I think for the first time she had a jigsaw puzzle. I kept going back to it several times. But I did not buy it. Still not sure I made the right decision.
Whenever we go on a family vacation we buy a jigsaw puzzle of the city where we are spending the vacation. And it is a project for everyone to work on the puzzle.
That is the only reason I have kept the card table so we can work on jigsaw puzzles.

@drizzellla That reminds me of a favorite jigsaw puzzle i got for Christmas as a child. It was a puzzle of Baltimore which is my hometown. I still have it.
I remember on Christmas day, the dog ate one of the pieces and my father went all over town to buy another puzzle. Great memory.

I'm addicted to jigsaw puzzles. I do them off and on every day on my computer. The website is JigsawsGalore and their puzzles are awesome!
But every morning, I do my best to work the crossword puzzle in my morning newspaper.

I do jigsaws on the computer. I enjoy it, but it's not quite the same experience since the ones I'm doing the pieces are already oriented correctly, but some sites I think have a setting for rotating pieces.
Trying to do a jigsaw in my house would not end well. I have 2 cats, and my husband seems to think every horizontal surface should be covered with his stuff.

I love jigsaw puzzles but have nowhere to set them out. I have a couple of Van Gogh's paintings puzzles but just keep looking at the box! The website jigsawplanet does rotation on some of the puzzles and you can choose the number of pieces. I spend a lot of time on their site.

I don't have the patience for puzzles though I wish I did. I mostly read more during the winter and watch lots of series/movies and of course football. My adult kids on the other hand love to do puzzzles. They call it their therapy. Every Christmas I buy them some uniques ones from Springbok (which I love because they are made in the USA) and also sometimes from Bits and Pieces. They always appreciate them!

Like so many we discovered the fun of puzzles during the pandemic and have continued them. It is a good distraction and good for the brain too.
We have space to leave it up. I work on it 30 minutes here and there but hubby might spend hours. We will do 1000 piece in 3-4 days. We have given away lots of puzzles but have a library of about 150. I'd say we are avid puzzle doers.
