@Brooklynny

So true!  Standing around on the stage for a while is nothing like real life.

@ALRATIBA, I'll never forget the day I had a similar experience, but wearing a skirt and not on stairs.  I was wearing a gathered mid-calf length skirt (this was in the mid-90s).  I went into my boss's office to give him a document, and I dropped it.  My boss, the CEO, and his partner, the Chairman, shared a huge office, so their big antique British partners' desks faced each other.  They loved the set up, and they were not British (it was NYC).  I gracefully bent down at the knees to pick up the document, but it didn't end gracefully.   I didn't realize that my kitten heel caught the hem of the skirt.  As I tried to stand up, I went down -- and tore the hem.  Was my face red....  OMG, it still makes me laugh, but it certainly wasn't funny then!  So beware of long skirts and high heeled shoes, as well.  Always lift the back hem a bit, even when going up or down stairs!!

First thing this morning when seeing SG on air wearing those sloppy floor dragging jeans  I thought WHAT IS SHE thinking?!?!  Here is this middle aged woman who is a designer(?) dressing in unattractive sloppy ill fitting jeans.  I just hope she is not planning to sell these God Awful jeans.

Not on a 60 year old woman.

I think she wears those jeans every Saturday on AM Style. Women are asking her on Facebook where she bought them, so she announced that she is coming out with her own very soon and they will be available on the Q. 🤗

What about a 59 year old woman?

Or a 58 year old woman>

It's a look. Either you like it or you don't.

Age has nothing to do with it.

I agree. They are a tad long. I like to see the toes of my shoes with wide legged pants, but I would much rather see them a bit long than too short.

The wide legged style is wildly flattering for her body type.

For myself, i prefer straight leg ankle length jeans. There's something out there for all of us.

Also, there is no age limit as far as fashion goes.  If you're 80 years old and love jeans, wear them..wide legs and all!

It's a matter of personal preference.  I wear my bootcut jeans and pants longer than my straight cuts.  Not dragging on the floor but long enough that just the tip of my shoe shows.  A wider pant that shows a lot of my shoe just looks a little off to me.

I did know that somebody put age limit for boot cut jeans. Need to find out who and what age this can be permissible. By the way in present time 60 years old woman is still young woman, this is not even official retirement age yet, so if still young enough to work I assum we still young enough to wear fashionable jeans.

Yes. I broke a toe doing this very thing.

Re: Jean lengths....

I wear skinny leg jeans with my skinny legs, and I like them long so they cover part of my ankle boots. I am fairly short, but the longer jeans and boots make me look taller and longer legged. I hate it when jeans are too short. I don't wear flairs any longer, but when I did, I also liked them long, but no so long that they dragged on the floor. Good way to fall by stepping on your jeans. Wide leg jeans I don't wear at all because they make me look short and squatty. Sometimes the skinny legged jeans are too long and they wrinkle up at my ankle, so I fold a new hem on them.  I used to watch QVC much more than I ever do now, and the queen of flairs too long to walk in was Lisa R. People used to comment here about that all the time.
