What a valid argument.... You have no idea what the thread is about, and you can't stand someone you never watch???? Judgmental much?

The reason I said I don't know what this is about is because of the "canned" comments. I thought it was known for a while that he was leaving. I said I don't watch the show, not that I've never, ever seen it.

I never cared for Johnny Carson..I thought he was arrogant and not funny.

Conan.....just ick.

Jay Leno I can take or leave, I dont find him funny either.

Jimmy Fallon is better than most of the above, at least he is entertaining and has great guests and skits.

I used to enjoy Arsenio, but since his new show...I'm not feeling him. He need new writers or something.

Jimmy Kimmel.....ick.

David Letterman is getting older and he needs to retire too.

I saw the 60 Minutes interview and thought Jay handled it well. He seems to have adopted a that's-show-biz response to all that's happened. NBC could not have made a poorer showing in the way they dealt with their late night hosts. Leno has been #1 consistently but got fired anyway. I liked Jimmy Fallon on SNL but I'm a big Craig Ferguson fan and always watch him when I can't sleep. I don't know how Jimmy Fallon will do on the Tonight Show. Johnny Carson was the best but Jay held his own for two decades. By the way, my daughter knows Mavis Leno and has nothing but praise for her.
