I was referring bleeding hearts, in my context, who support prison reform, prison "perks", enrichment and the like. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I know what you were referring to.
The fact remains that your brush-off of the reality of cause and effect is incorrect. Many people in prison are innocent, including some in for murder and the death penalty.
Not everyone in jail deserves to be there.
Brush-off of reality? Hardly.
Jared is right whre he belongs as are many other prisoners!

Straw man argument. I made my feelings clear about Jared, they seem to be the same as yours.
The flaw in your premise is your assumption that everyone in jail is guilty and you will have nothing to do with facts.
No flaw, your battle be should with our criminal system, not me. I don't care why anyone is in prison, guilty or not they are there

Wow-- that is one of the most callus thing I've read in a long time. You DO know that innocent prople are jailed frequently, don't you? If you can't afford a good criminal lawyer, odds are you will go to jail, regardless of guilt or innocence.

This article in People about Fogel in prison is pretty darn interesting, esp. the second half of the article. According to it, Fogel has been beaten before, it just didn't get reported. And he also pays for protection (which obviously hasn't been that effective).
Also, a lot of the prisoners hate him because he only got 15 yrs. for his molestation conviction whereas other prisoners got 40 yrs. for theirs. Again, the article is interesting and worth reading! Oh yeah, Fogel serves subs to prisoners as part of his work duty serving food. Ironic....
