I was watching Jane treacy last night and I'm not remembering exactly what she was presenting--It was sometime after the Honeybells I believe. A caller called in and was rather sad. I thought Jane handled it so well. But why do people call in and go on and on about personal things. At the end of the conversation the woman was crying. It was obvious that she wanted to go on and on.
At this time of year, I can totally understand some being sad. (I am too), but to call and talk on television about personal things is inappropriate. Hosts are not counselors, psychologists. I guess people are lonely and looking for any avenue but it made me feel uncomfortable for Jane to be in that situation.
Anyone see that?
