My fiancé was killed in Vietnam during a firefight, the same night Hanoi Jane was visiting. He was a professional soldier, Special Forces, on his 2nd tour of duty. A magnificent, courageous and kind man who only wanted to serve his country. Just in case people have forgotten, orders came down from on high to "hold fire" as he said in his very last letter to me. I guess the politicos didn’t want a little hair on her little Hollywood butt hurt by “American” fire. I hate Jane Fonda with a passion like no one will ever understand. My fiance led a night patrol (against orders) to intercept and engage the enemy they KNEW was coming and coming hard. The only man I ever loved died, in agony, bleeding to death, alone, at night, in the stinking jungle of Vietnam because of this traitor. Every man in his unit was killed, they all fought to the death. They were warriors. After years of research, I found out that he told every man on his team that it was likely to be a "suicide mission" and that anyone could refuse the mission. The Firebase commander urged him not to do it - even telling him he was not permitted to even give him mortar support. Every single one of his men went with him. And 1,391 soldiers were killed that night across the entire A.O. That's the kind of man/men we lost so we can have Jane Fonda's exercise videos!

She thinks this was like an innocent high school prank and everyone should “just understand.” Yeah, right.

I still die a little inside when I see Hanoi Jane.
