I've been seeing the commercials for Jacuzzi Bath Remodel. Has anyone here had this done by this company? If so, what was your experience and would you recommend? Thanks for any feedback.

Never heard of this umtil now.
They remove your tub and replace it with a walk-in shower? How does the company differ from a local contractor doing the same thing?
I would think a local contractor would give you more options in tile, fixtures, bench seating, etc.

I've seen this sort of company set up in front of Home Depot at times. It's not tile, but a pre-formed material that they use. I think the main selling point is lower cost and much quicker installation. At least that was my take-away from the TV ads.

This company works like Rebath. (We dealt with Rebath in 2007, but went directly to their local store first to look everything over. The contractors doing the work were local people with proper licensing. I did in fact refer several people to them.)
Your call is directed to the store/contractor closest to you. Their salesman comes out with samples of what they carry, you make your choices, they take measurements, you give a deposit and they order all materials. Once materials come in, they get you on their schedule for the actual work. For stall showers, you're choosing wall panels, a vinyl pan, shower doors, hardware, etc., same as going to Lowes and choosing materials, but you're also paying labor to get the job done.
If you want a more custom bathroom update with a tile shower stall, don't bother with this company, find a local contractor who does tile work and can show pictures and provide names of local people he has worked for.

I never heard of a Jacuzzi bath remodel and I watch a lot of late-night TV.

Jacuzzi Bath Remodel has bought A LOT of advertising time on local TV stations. I have seen the commercials over and over again.
What I don't understand is that they take out the tub and put in a walk in shower. There is a seat put on the far wall of the newly installed shower. The water from the shower head does not reach the seat. So you have to hold the shower head in your hand? How would you take a shower holding the shower head? You are trying to lather up as you hold the shower head? You are trying to shampoo your hair holding the shower head if you are sitting on the seat?
I doubt that the seat would ever be used.
My husband belongs to a group that owns a cabin. They had a similar shower form installed in the cabin. You have to be careful what cleaner you use. So you don't ruin the finish. It is nice that it is three big sides. Don't have to worry about the grout. And it seems to be easy to clean.
Looks like Jacuzzi has standard styles. All the items are the same standard size. So it just fits together. That is why it takes a day or they claim it takes a day.

The "seat" you're referring to is used more often as a foot rest for shaving your legs. We actually have a full size shower seat for my husband in our oversized shower.

In my area, they'll come out and give you about a two hour sales pitch before you get the actual quote.

They have a website that shows what they do. Looks similar to all the other companies who do basically the same thing. I know they are not all equal in quality, design, or workmanship.

Thank you all for your responses.
I hadn't heard of this company before either, except for Jacuzzi hot tubs. Christina, from "Christina on the Coast" is the spokesperson for it.
Due to some physical limitations, I want to take out my tub/shower combo and replace it with just a low-rise, step-in shower. I would find it too stressful to have my bathroom under construction for the length of time that would be needed for a regular remodel.
Thanks again for your replies.
