Mine is from the 1972 movie Charlie and the chocolate factory. The scene where Mr. Wonka drives his little truck filled with all the bubbles and they all get covered in bubbles and foam and then they squeeze thru the dryer and come out perfectly dry and clean and Mrs. Tv asks 'what was that' and Wonka says hsawaknow. Wonkawash backwards.

My nickname comes from two of my favorite flowers and I would loved to be called this in real life!

sunshine is a nic my husband gave me when he first met me, he said I had sunshine eyes when I smiled and when we got married over 8 years ago I moved to a place that has a lot of rainbows.

I also love the song by brother IZ "Somewhere over the rainbows... dreams do come true..."

And my real name is from the Wizard of Oz, also was my great grandmothers and my grandmas name too.

My younger sister and I used to write music and sing together,  and we came up with a silly song which included "doo-bee-doo" as part of the lyrics.  It was one of my sweet father's favorites and always made him smile.  He died when I was 17, and he was my heart.Heart  I want to keep his memory alive, and this is one of the small, simple ways I do that.  He'll always be with me.

And you will see him again one day in Heaven @dooBdoo. I know that because I saw a miracle when my father died. Your post was very touching. Be well, EEL

My initials.  I do not recall making that choice - I think it was somehow assigned to me and I don't know to change it.

@gmkb, I like your nickname!  But if you want to change it, just go into "My Account" and under "Communication Preferences" click "My Nickname."  Enter the new nickname and click "Continue."  Log out of the forums and then sign in and you'll have a new moniker!

Thanks, @EdithEllenLily.Heart  You have no idea how much your post means to me.  I do have faith he and I will meet again, and in a way we never really parted because I know he's always been watching over us.

Same here. Years ago, I was telling my DH that if he were an animal, he'd be a dog, because he MUST be around poeple and he wears his heart on his sleeve.  Of course he said I'd be a house cat, the kind that won't leave the house even if the door is wide open. Yep, that's me.  I'm social and outgoing when life requires it, but given my choice, I'd rather be looking out the window watching the birds.

How come you're not using your beautiful baby as as your avatar?
