Mine is the first initials of my cats names and since I have 2 cats thats where the 2 comes into place.

What a GREAT forum - to ask what our call names mean and how they they/WE came to be!!!!!  I LOVE this!!!!  So many great names, all wonderful meanings.

Well I am PinkDogwood.  When I sit on my couch and look out the big picture window in the living room I can stare at a VERY old BEAUTIFUL pink dogwood in our front yard.  Just asked my husband if he planted this one for his grandparents who owned our home.  He said no which really surprised me because he's the landscaper and has always taken care of their property, planted a ton of things for them through the years.

This species which I can't tell you what it is (and hubby just left for work) but it is an OLD one.  Now, this time of season it is the first tree to begin turning color and dropping its leaves.  BUt it IS gorgeous in bloom.  This is my story.

Same here. Years ago, I was telling my DH that if he were an animal, he'd be a dog, because he MUST be around poeple and he wears his heart on his sleeve.  Of course he said I'd be a house cat, the kind that won't leave the house even if the door is wide open. Yep, that's me.  I'm social and outgoing when life requires it, but given my choice, I'd rather be looking out the window watching the birds.

It means happy or joyous.  A doctor gave me this name.

@ciao_bella:  Cute story! Your screen name is also the name of a popular Italian restaurant in my area.

My screen name is pretty straightforward. My DH, from the day we got married, has had "two left hands." So from day one it was either learn to do things myself, or call a contractor for everything. I chose to learn how to do things around the house, and fix things, in order to save money, and l started to enjoy it. I became "handy."
