I presume you are talking about the young man that got the gun away from

the guy in the Waffle House .. did you see the rap sheet on the shooter ?

Caught outside the White House with Guns.. Guns confiscated and

given back to him by his father ....and here is another problem to add

to the list for gun control ........

I agree .. this young man is a hero .....

James Shaw knew he had to unarm that monster at the Waffle House - before more people were shot. Yes - He's a true hero!!!!!

I found it inspiring to hear that James had taken time to attend church this morning before he went to the press conference.  He and the others who survived the Waffle House shooting are probably still in shock. My prayers are for them and for the loved ones of the four victims.

I live near Nashville.  This afternoon a news conference was held on one of the local network channels.

Mr. Shaw was so humble that he had tears streaming down his face.

Yes, I agree with other posters, he is a true hero.

For myself i find all the shootings just very  horrible, but at the same time when a person steps in and does what they can do ,just very inspiring.

Re: JAMES SHAW jr.

James Shaw Jr. is a very impressive and humble young man.

His little daughter can be very, very proud of her daddy!

He is a fine young man.  Well done, James.
