We also just did smoke detectors and had to put up a new 02 detector (carbon monoxide).  It gave up the ghost, 10 yrs. old.

I'm an early to bed and early to rise.  Lark I think they call it.  Not a night owl.  So, it works just fine for me.

Phoenix seems to have local news on almost all day on some channel. It usually starts at 4 am to 9. Then there's news at 11 and 12, and again at 3 or 4 until 6. We have no shortage of news.
