@Desertdi.  Surely Phoenix must have late news?

I just hate that the evenings are so long.  It seems like forever until bedtime, the high point of my day.

Phoenix seems to have local news on almost all day on some channel. It usually starts at 4 am to 9. Then there's news at 11 and 12, and again at 3 or 4 until 6. We have no shortage of news.

Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.  And that's my final word on it.  Bah humbug to these time changes!

OH YES!  I had totally forgot about that.

It signals the start of cooler weather, cozy nights, wood burning fireplace, inviting / alluring ambient lighting.  And the start of no bugs season!  It just seems more pleasant and peaceful to me when it gets dark earlier. My husband is not a fan though. He says he has to get up for work in the dark and gets home in the dark.

Shoekitty, oh boy do I hear you there.  That day drags on. Forever,

I think this thread is a prime example of why there hasn't been a law to finally set a time  and be done with it. I'm sure the lawmakers are as split as the public.
