The Chicago area has been averaging temperatures in the 40s the last couple of weeks.  That's considered unseasonably warm.  A couple of days were 30-ish and in some places the local temperature on the day after Christmas may have gone over 50-degrees.  Personally I love my winter with cold (below 30 degrees) and lots of snow.  I'm even ok with artic sub-zero weather.  The colder the better for me.

Our winter in Phx is high 50's, low60's.  I've been here for 30 years, so to me it's "freezing"!!  However, I enjoy this time of year here.

Many family members in South FL.  Visited there every year multiple times and recall winters when heavy coats were necessary.  My mother passed away in 2012 so haven't visited since.

I'm enjoying our weather. It will be all to soon before the highs are 100 plus. No rush.

We are on the east coast and the temps have been above normal.  The jet stream is bringing California weather across the country.  I enjoy some snow, but not on a daily basis.  If the jet stream changes and starts bringing Arctic temps down, it will get colder!  I don't know whether we're in an El Nino or El Nina weather pattern, but it seems like El Nina which always means mild winters.

We are in S. WI & the temps have been above normal for a couple of weeks.  It's in the 40's today with light snow overnight and then a few days of sunny 30's.  I am loving it because I despise hot weather.  I also like ❄❄❄, but not a  foot at a time.

I don't over think those things.  I don't know why and I don't care why.  I'm in MA and we have been having some unseasonably warm weather and I am just enjoying it for as long as it lasts.

I know many folks like four seasons and everything it brings. I am not one of those. 84 degrees in January sounds like a dream to me. I live where winters are brutal because of lake effect snow and even here, it is has been mild for the last few weeks. I'd love to wear tshirts, shorts and flip flops year around!

I am not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.
