Also if you are at the top of a screen and want to go to the bottom, hit the end key.

Just hit the 'forum listing' button under the last post on the thread you are reading. It takes you to the top of the page and skips the extra step you still must do to see the topics.  

 

For those of us that use a smaller screen that new up thing is annoying, I think so anyway.
