I am overwhelmed by the number of responses to my post. Everyone is so kind and compassionate.

@Desert Lily, I am so sorry for your losses. I'm glad I made the decision to post, as you did. I know it will help me.

@deedledeedeedle I'll post my purchases so far tomorrow. Right now my husband asked me if I was going to watch Shoe Shopping with Jane tonight. Hmmmm, I think I will.

Welcome Sandpiper!  I'm so sorry for your loss.  I lost my mother to cancer in 2000 and still think about her every day.  She was only 69 years old when she died.

@SandPiper

Sorry for your loss.  Sounds as though you were your Mom's best friend as well.

Welcome @SandPiper

I lost my mom last August.  I talked to her on the phone every day.

I understand your sorrow and also, I am so happy you are feeling up to joining us.

It is never boring here.

Take some comfort, I know our moms are happy for us too.

My condolences, sending you (((HUGS))) but know that it does get better, on your time, so you heal. And yes, your mom is dancing in streets of gold, "my girl is shopping for herself".

Just wanted to let you know that I'm personally glad you've joined @SandPiper.

Hope you find solace from all of us who post with you.

I also lost my dearest friend when my mom died, but I know she's never too far away when I need her (often).

Talk to you soon.
