I had a houseguest this last weekend and finally put away my santa-and-reindeer retro candles (and put out my Easter ones) last weekend.  I put away my favorite Christmas things, my cards from friends and family, at the same time.

I put away the tree the second week in Jan, having only gotten it up, due to overload at work, on Christmas Eve.  So I didn't have it up too long, but it is always so worth it to look at the tree and muse on Christmases past.

I still have my lights stringing the perimeter of my lania and I love it.  When I don't love it anymore, I will turn off the timer.........IMG_0390.JPG

My candles are still glowing in my windows at night and it finally looks like Christmas outside!  I live in Massachusetts.
