-8 degrees this AM in upstate NY.  I only made it 1/2 hour on my morning walk which is usually an hour. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Saturday morning...16 degrees 6:44 a.m.  Feels like 10 my little weather station says. I'm not going out if I don't have to.

@Carmie  I hear you and the dogs still want to go go go. until the paws are too cold. Gets us out and moving but.... After I read your post I also had 13 but nasty wind made it -13. Instead if a Lands End coat I donned a long Eddie Bauer. I have been wearing a face mask outside and that helps. It was warmer than the day before of a high of 2. Summers are glorious here but days like this wish I was a snowbirds. I only recall last year one week of bitter cold so guess we were due.

Our high was below zero two days this week. I've been waiting for spring since December.

Live in South Louisiana. Hate the cold. It was 24 at 5:30 this morning. 28 right now. Been running water since freeze started last night to prevent frozen pipes. Will be glad when it gets above 32.  We have another freeze tonight.

It was 15-16 here this morning. I had to use my jumper box to get the car started. The battery was like, "Oh no! I'm not going out in this!" I wore my big puffer coat for the first time this year and it felt good. Lots of people were out shopping this morning. I was a little surprised by that.

It was 10 degrees here this morning.  One good thing about it is that we'd have a lot more nasty bugs in summer if winter's cold didn't kill them.

It was 9° today when I went ice skating, with a -14° wind chill.  Skating inside of course, but when on the actual ice surface? It is not exactly warm until you work to get your body warm.

And "COVID" is stopping you exactly how?

COVID is stopping us from traveling.  We sometimes go Florida for at least a month, usually In February, but put that on hold for a while.

We take our RV.  We did go to Cape May, NJ off season in September last year, but it was not crowded.

I won't eat in restaurants that are busy or hang out where there are a lot of people.  I am more comfortable at home.

We go boating and hang out at our Lake Place during the warmer months....so I am looking forward to that.  Right now I know so many people who have recently tested positive for COVID.  The numbers seem to be going up again.

I don't want to get stuck in Florida being sick or have my DH get sick and be unable to drive us back to PA.
