Now showing on Turner Classic Movie channel. A classic, and one of my favorites.

Terrific movie.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: ""It Happened One Night""

Hi, DEEP!

I love the scene where they put the clothesline down the middle of the room, and the scene where Clark teaches her the correct way to dunk her doughnut. And of course the hitchhiking scene. I don't even remember the plot of that movie, just a series of incredibly good scenes. I don't think Gable had straightened his teeth yet, and he looked better than he did later.

Trivia about Claudette Colbert, who was self conscious about her round face. She would only be photographed from one side of her face.

Photographers started to call the forbidden side "the dark side of the moon."

Hi Burnsite, This film deserved all the Academy awards it won. Didn't know about Gable's teeth and Colbert's face. They were both very photogenic in all their movies.

Bet you are missing your New England fall weather about now. Looking out my windows I can see the trees changing color everyday. And it is cozy to snuggle under my 'couch quilt' in the evening to read or watch tv. Wishing you a satisfying and productive work week, DEEP

It is a great classic! I like how they dressed during that era.

That bedroom scene has been duplicated a gazillion times, but nothing like the original!!!
