I get my Andrew Lessman vitamins from HSN on FlexPay every 4 months.   This AM I noticed that I was getting really low and checked online to find out that my November shipment was never sent out.  Just spend a half hour calling their customer service - and they told me that I had too many Flex Pays outstanding - even tho my credit balance was not maxed out.

Never happened to me before - and why didn't they send out an email.   Doesn't make  lot of sense to me - since they offer Flex Pay on almost everything.  Why limit it?

They are shipping it out asap but I thought everyone should know.

Your credit limit and flex pay limits are two entirely different things.

The credit limit is determine by a separate bank, and you can obviously purchase as much as you want as long as you are within your limit.

HSN limits flex pays, though (as do other shopping channels) based on their own criteria.  This is to help reduce fraud and loss which unfortunately happens.

I do sympathize, though.   An e-mail notifying you of an issue would have been very helpful and reduced the inconvenience.

I had the same thing happen to me, also with a Lessman product.  Now, I monitor the AD to make sure it is being shipped.

They really need to let you know BEFORE you buy something using them - since nowadays flex pays are the default.  I really never knew that flex pays were limited.   Is this is a stated policy for all the channels?  I've never seen it.. but I will find out.

How many flex pay orders are allowed?

it would be helpful if policies were discussed when businesses make their offers...a quick mention of the max amount of flex pays could prevent frustration for shoppers.I thought it was a matter of the max allowed on your credit card too.

Wow, I'm suprised they haven't cut me off then. I've started using flex pay because I order so much and if there's a return, it's just smaller amounts that I have to worry about. I guess I buy enough to balance mine out.

After Christmas I'm going to cut way back on my spending. How many things do we really need?  I've got enough shoes, clothes, jewelry, styling tools/products, kitchen appliances, hangers, lol, and cosmetics and bath products to last forever.

I have been buying a lot gifts lately though.

And today I'm buying the Kitchenaid mixer for me 😳😳

I've decided,  after this shipment,  to move my Lessman subscription to his own website.   Also going to stop buying so much from HSN and the other channels.   I don't like the way they use Flex Pays to sell the product and then count them against you.   Amazon sells pretty much the same stuff and they are at least up front with you on their policies.
