Isn't There a Way To Remove a Thread Entirely?

Good grief!  I get tired of seeing these threads that (for whatever reason) have been zapped yet they sit here on the boards.

Isn't there a way to remove the thing entirely?  There are always going to be people who disagree about a host or salesperson.

Why not just zap it as soon as it shows up?  I keep clicking on it to post something about the pants, etc.

Perhaps it's a way of slapping us on the knuckles.  Really?  Just take the thing down.

I believe the board rules say it has to be kept up with the reason, so the OP knows.

Doesn't bother me at all. I hardly see them. If I do I pass them by, like I do many threads that don't interest me.

I don't like it when they just disappear, which they do occasionally.  I keep looking for them.  I much prefer when the moderator states the reason why it was removed.

I think it's only fair to let the poster know that their post was zapped and why.  They can possibly re-word it or know for future reference what not to say.

I think that @Annabellethecat66 means to take the whole thread down (giving a reason) instead of just one or two or three of the worst posts.

If we're talking about the same thread, there are several other posts on it that I think are rude, and if I were a mod, I would zap the whole thing.

A few have been zapped completely.  Guess it just depends on the Mod doing the zapping!

Why would you click on a post that clearly says it was removed????

@Lucky Charm Yes, but I thought that was one of the posts where QVC stopped you from posting on it further.

That is what drives me crazy because I come upon it and often read the last few posts and then find out we can no longer post on it.

You know me, (I don't know the meaning of a few words) so I'm like typing bla bla and then I hit post and it doesn't work.  I'm slow to get the message and try again, same thing!

If the entire subject is CLOSED, why not delete the entire subject?  That's what I mean.

Yes!  The reason why (in my opinion) would very much be appreciated.

It took me awhile to understand what some meant when a person starts a thread like, "Shawn's hair looked good today".  Then someone posts something like, "Here we go".  I could figure out (at first...hey!  I'm slow to catch on) what the person meant; but I finally understood.

@Annabellethecat66 again, if you're reading the title of a thred you would also be able to read that it's been removed.  Example:

Moved:

susan graver

This thread has been removed by QVC because it is rude to our host

If the thread has been closed for commenting but all post remarks are still there, you would not be able to type because it specially says "closed for further commenting."
