Is this correct? (paying QVC invoice)

Paying QVC bill when my return credit has not gone through yet.....

Payment due April 5, 2025

Tracking shows QVC has received my return merchandise, but did not

credit my account yet.

I pay the amount, then eventually Synchrony sends me a check

for my credit?

I will not be using my QVC card for another purchase, Synchrony

will not be able to put the credit for my next QVC purchase.

Re: Is this correct? (paying QVC invoice)

If you don't pay by the due date, you'll have a late charge of at least 25.00.  Pay by the due date and then request a check when the credit is applied since you will no longer be using the account.

Why don't you just use the card on a future purchase so you don't have to request a check?

Re: Is this correct? (paying QVC invoice)

I had this happen once in an over payment, and a credit. They left the credit up, and deducted every purchase I made. But it was a credit of 2,000.  Finally after about 5 months they sent a real check in mail for full amount.  I tried resolving this with qvc and synchrony. It was to no avail. But after 6 months, resolved.  You should call synchrony after the refund is credited, and demand a check. But they may want to wait to see if other charges come through.

You might get a refund quicker if you go to:

QVCeasyreturns@QVC.com

This is what I do when I'm about to ship out a return.  I send an email to this address with my name, order #, item # and small description.  (I actually copy & paste this information from the order online).

I ask for them to please refund my card.  I usually hear back in a couple of days with them letting me know that they have made the refund.

When I have a return I drop it at my local post office. I call Q the next day  and ask if my return has been scanned. When they say yes, I ask for my refund processed . It's done immediately.

Never a problem.

Had this happen at Lowe's with a purchase of cedar fence boards in 2019. It was a charge over $2000.

DH ordered the boards online. When we stopped by to pick them up they had sold them to someone else.

They didn't have any left in stock.

Lowe's wanted to issue us a Lowe's Gift Card for future purchases. I told them No you are going to issue a credit to our Lowe's credit card which is the original form of payment? They said we needed to spend that money at Lowe's. I told them No I'm going to spend that money on a fence. I told him you shouldn't have sold something that was already sold to us?

Finally got a manager involved that issued credit to our credit card. The balance on it was due the following week. No way was I paying that so I could hassle getting a check or a gift card?

Form it seems to take forever for a QVC refund  appear on my credit card  statement . It' snot a QVC card.

I have the bad luck in that many items I have sent back for Exchange  in another color or size , have been processed by QVC as Returns.  The staff who are supposed to process exchanges well they seem to only process  return so they can charge a return fee .... QVC can't be out of stock Every Time I request an exchange .

Re: Is this correct? (paying QVC invoice)

I don't understand
Not with QVC but if my payment is due before the Credit is issued I make the payment to avoid a late fee and when the Credit is issued it reduces my balance.

Maybe the Op won't have a balance and that's why she would prefer to get a check?

There's no guarantee when a Credit would be issued so I would make the payment.
