I do. At least I plan to start recording calories. I have a journal covers 60 days. I'm doing it already, but have a new book, to kick off the new year with. By then I'll know more on how I want to use it for recording.
How about you? Is Jan 1 a new start off on something you are looking forward to do? There are only a few days to go, if you think you might want to start a new habit.....or get back to something you've wanted to do.

Most peeps wait till the New Year to diet. One of the reasons for the TSV today.

Hi @qualitygal
I usually don't wait to start a new habit. I feel like if I put it off, then I won't do it. But I do have a goal to use all the pages in my journal by the end of the year. So I can start a new one in January.

Not me, if there's anything I need to start or change, there's no time like the present.
After all, it's really just another day.

No. If I feel that I want or need to make a change, I do it. IMHO, putting it off until a certain day/date on the calendar is nothing but procrastination and rarely results in the change actually happening.

I plan to keep better track of my money/spending next year. I have figured out how to use my planner to do some recording of payments, etc. I need paper and pen, not my computer or phone to do it. I know there are apps and programs out there, but putting pen to paper will work better for me.

A local church will be offering "learn to crochet" classes starting in January. I know how to knit but would also like to crochet.

No--will continue on as usual. The same things will start over in the new year like Social Security and deductions for this and that. Money is always an issue---for everyone!

Waiting to begin a new habit is already your first excuse for failure. Why wait?
It sounds like you want to drop a few pounds or eat healthier. There is no time like the present.
Good luck with your plan!

No. I made a couple of positive lifestyle changes in the Fall.
