Is there a difference between citron and lime (colors)?

I have been looking for a lime tote bag for summer. It's been a challenge even on ebay.

Isaac's bag is posted on the home page and is listed as being a citron color. Would I be making a mistake buying it thinking it is lime?

The dictionary says citron and lime are similar; however, I somehow think citron is a tad different.

What's your take on this?

I think citron looks like a washed out lime color. A little more yellowish.

Citron is greenish yellow, lime is yellowish green so citron is more yellow and lime is more green.

Yes! That's it! I couldn't put my finger on it, but you've got it right, Predsfan. Ok, now I know to continue my quest. I really want a lime bag.

I just Binged citron color and there are so many variations of citron! If you like lime green, you'd probably like any color within the variation. I love that color.

I got the IM ceramic watch in light citron and it is ivory colored. Not a hint of green in it. Everyone's idea of citron is not the same. To me it would have some green in it, but I saw in the presentation that it did not.

My interpretation of citron is a more yellowish green, sort of like the color of antifreeze.

Citron is classified in the yellow family. The fruit looks like a big lemon not a lime.

I agree with the rest; citron is more yellow. However, there are many inaccuracies in color names on the Q. They can call anything any color they want.

If it's a Q item, see if there is a video.
