[Rainbows and Roses]

I am not for sure if that is how you spell it but you buy this Roku and it replaces cable tv..........if you are using this do you like it? I am tired of paying for cable when there are only a few shows I see.

It doesn't replace cable. It's a wireless device that allows you to stream various apps. You can't get television stations on it. There are some free Roku apps but you would want to subscribe to something like Hulu or Netflix if you're thinking of giving up cable. Depending on your location you might be able to get local stations with an antenna.

Yes, I used a ROKU device. There's an online tv channel I like and could only view on my computer, but with the device I can now watch on the tv, which is more enjoyable and convenient. Honestly, this was my sole reason for getting the ROKU device in the first place, but there are several channel options within an assortment of genres. Some channels that broadcast via a ROKU are free, but there are others you pay a subscription fee for access. The ROKU has not replaced my cable, however.

Thank you. I think Roku and Netflix would be enough tv for me..........I don't know though.......I need to cut down my basic cable bill but there is no way unless I just disconnect it and have no tv.

Yes, we use our Roku as an extra way to stream video, for us it would never replace cable.

Around here, basic cable is $29 a month. If you live in a big city, you can get a lot of channels using an antenna which is free. You can also watch full episodes of most programs online the day after they are broadcasted. You have a lot of options.
