Neither do I.
While someday I would love to see the Olympics, I'll only go if they are held someplace where I would feel safe, like the U.S.
Even then, that's no guarantee, but it's better than Sochi, or Rio!

Guess I should have gone when they were in Atlanta. But then it too had its pipe bomb incident. We did get to see the torch pass by here . . .

I have been to 3 Olympics (Sapporo, Innsbruck, L.A.). I have been to Rio and consider it a dangerous city. I also lived in Germany in an areA that was beset with terrorism and feel I have a good ability to assess danger. If I were planning a trip to Sochi, I would cancel NOW.

I'd feel safer going to Sochi before stepping foot in Rio for the games.

Rio is a beautiful city but the favelas could be another hotbed for terror suspects........
