I've been buying a lot lately from the Q. Embellish...Perfect Formula for Nails...Susan Graver..Bronzo Italia..Affinity...Quacker...Clarks..Sad to say but almost everything has been sent back or is going to be..The Embellish and PF are way overpriced and did nothing as promised. On their way back. The Clarks, which I have worn for years and swear by, were so uncomfortable out of the box, they went back..The Graver TSV, the open front cardigan in cotton/acrylic with the longer back, is like a rag...Still haven't decided it's fate..Quacker is poorly cut but it was cheap and can wear when I walk..The Affinity yellow diamond in sterling has no sparkle at all..It was cheap and you don't get much in diamonds for $106.00, but it did look gorgeous on TV. Maybe going back..But the Bronzo Italia is gorgeous and looks way more expensive than it was. Is it just me or are others having the same issues? I've been shopping with QVC from the beginning, 30 yrs at least..I'm just sad. Maybe I just expect to get what I see on screen.

No, I don't think it's just you.

I'm seeing more and more product reviews on a wide variety of items that comment on the lack of quality or not being what was described on the presentation. Many of those include manufacturers well known for high quality in the past.

If I may, it isn't just you. I used to shop lots, as all of you I'm sure, with QVC until the quality of their product seemed to be going downhill- Denim & Co. jeans for example.. just something changed- also an expensive D&B bag, was boxy and made differently from the ones I see for myself in retail stores. Not worth the effort of buying & sending back & then chancing on the "dreaded letter". Let me also add, getting someone else's return item of which you'd have to send back. They really need to pay attention to their returns department..

I've narrowed Q purchasing down to a couple brands and will gamble on a wild card purchase only occasionally due to too many returns and disappointments.

It's a bright sunny day in Western Pa..that's the only way I get any sparkle from the Affinity yellow pave ring..Sadly, it's going back too. On a brighter note, I purchased the Joy Mangano huggable hangers from HSN..They are very nice and my tops do not slide off of them.

I too have in the past been an avid purchaser here at the Q......really haven't had many returns in all the years I have been with them. Started buying there in 1996.. And, I have to say the quality just isn't what it used to be. Know I haven't been purchasing much lately......but my checkbook is liking that....... There is so much repeat of vendors and their merchandise, and with the Christmas stuff now, am definitely seeing many repeats.

I thought I finally found the perfect pant. It is the Women in Control Slim leg pant but their next batch of reorders were a completely different fit....not slim leg at all but baggy as baggy could be. I don't really care for leggings but do like a slim leg pant.

Funny you should say that about the JM huggable hangers.......I own both, and would take the ones I purchased from the Q over the JM any time. Like that you don't have to put that little hanger thing over the hook to add on another hanger......On the Q's it is built in......and things don't fall off of them either.......
