I just tried several times and get the message that facebook is 'working' on fixing it.   Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

Yes, it has been reported by the media that it and instagram are down. No timeline for the fix. Now I have no excuse to not get something done around the house lol

Yup.  Widespread outage for Facebook, Instagram and Threads.

@newjersey - Yes, I tried twice and couldn't get in. I didn't get any message, just a blank screen.

I got into Facebook through Google Crome.

Facebook is back!

Messenger is back on laptop, but phone wants my password which i don't think i ever had one, lol.  

Instagram is still down.

I have had trouble with it off and on all week but today it has been fine. I us the Facebook Purity App and I think that makes a huge difference, I don't usually have 90% of the issues that other (non-purity) user seem to have. And as a benefit it blocks alot of the FB ******.
