Is anyone else drowning in Holiday Catalogs?

I know 'tis the season, but I am literally being bombarded by holiday catalogs that I just have to recycle along with the newspapers. I probably receive at least 3 a day on average, yesterday's mail delivered 6 and I am not kidding. Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Willams-Sonoma, Harry & David, Wine Country Gift Baskets, Swiss Colony, Wolferman's.... the list is endless. I don't mind receiving the occasional catalog, but what a total waste of paper. Not only that, they send them almost weekly and it's usually almost an identical catalog, just with a different cover on it. It's the "December 2013" then a week later it's the "Holiday 2013" issue, it's the "Holiday Gift Guide 2013", wait a few days and it's the "New Holiday Gift Guide 2013". How many Holiday Gift Guides does a person need??? {#emotions_dlg.confused1} No wonder so many of these companies charge high shipping rates, they must spend a fortune on catalogs and marketing. I have ordered from a few of them, so I understand why I continue to get the catalogs, but apparently my name gets sold to other companies and put on their mailing lists. I get catalogs for things I never asked for or have any interest in.

Does anyone else have this issue after you buy online or order from a company? I could practically wallpaper my house with all of them. It seems so wasteful. I guess my only option is to call the ones I don't want and ask to be removed from their mailing list, or just keep recycling.
