Re: Is anybody else as afraid of heights as I am?

No, not heights as such. Edges. I am scared of high up edges. I could go in a plane, which is a great height, but it's all enclosed so it's OK. I don't like being on the edge of the roof of a skyscraper at all.

And I hate, hate, hate panoramic elevators. Stupidest idea ever.

Me, too, Clover29! Those edges get the best of me.{#emotions_dlg.scared} I even have trouble watching someone else on a ledge, even in a film or video.

Not so much afraid but driving over high bridges (or walking over them) can sometimes make me a tad queasy.

Those panoramic elevators - I worry more about being stuck in them.

I will admit that the Grand Canyon took a bit of adjusting to, as beautiful as it was.

The fear almost paralyzes me. Once just crossing a high bridge, I barely could make it and thought I would have to pull over and have the police get me across. Strangely, I have no problems on airplanes -- just as long as I don't watch taking off and landing.
