I found this interesting last night.

Especially his comment about ""when it gets out of control.""

The quote from the article is: "We shifted to Ebola starting around April of this year when it became clear this current outbreak was going to get out of control," Crowe said. Referring to the outbreak in West Africa...

Thanks for the link. We are heading to Vanderbilt next week for an appointment. Great research and work being done there. Excellent institute of medicine & learning!

Yes, and it had already gotten out of control then. Those poor people in Africa needed the help then. I'm glad Vandy shifted when they did.

I read last week that NYC was sending actors into hospitals to measure their response to a potential ebola patient.

I can't wait to see the response to this in NYC hospitals.

From what I'm reading it sounds like you expect to see panic and hysteria. ???

Having lived in NYC and now being north of the city I can tell you that New Yorkers have seen it all. They have also lived through major tragedy. I have not heard on the news about sending actors into hospitals but I would expect a ""sane"" response. NY seems to be prepared and yesterday posted a list of the city and state hospitals that are serving as ebola centers. I have confidence in NY hospitals.

Re: Is Your State Taking Steps?

I have no clue what NJ is doing.

I think they are taking temps at the airport.

That should help(insert sarcasm here)
