I know it is a cliche ,but doesn't it seem like Dec.  is going by at breakneck speed ?  I was making a grocery list and figuring out when to schedule my delivery, and the actual date kind of shocked me . It seemed like the holiday was weeks away ,and it is not. Jokes on me. It's a good thing I'm not over scheduled like in my younger days, or I would be in trouble.

yeah, I'm with ya  @QVCkitty1   "Time is definitely flying by!!  Big time!"  Even seemingly much faster then the last time I realized, and remarked this!

@QVCkitty1.  The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas always fly by at warp speed.  Then we arrive at January which seems to go on forever.

I always feel once Halloween hits, the rest of the holidays just fly by.  But truth be told, it seems now the years just fly by in general.  Kind of scary, really.  😣

Time flies by no matter what month or year it is, at least it does for me.  I am always happy to see Fall arrive and that went by in a flash just as Christmas is doing.  January will also go fast .  When I was young I would always wish for time to move fast especially when summers came and I didn't have to go to school for two months!!!!!  Now I wish time to slow down .

Indeed time does fly.  I swear it was just yesterday that I was in my twenties, and yet here I am at 69!

At 63 and retired, this quote sums up how I feel a lot of times:  "The days are long, but the years are short."

@QVCkitty1

Yes rocket speed ahead for the last month or so.  You wouldn't know it by the weather though here in metro Denver.

Mostly 60's for the next several days, no snow in sight, Christmas day they're forecasting 69 degrees.
