My 85 year old mother went into assisted living at the start of the pandemic. Today I saw the first photo of her on the facility's facebook page and I wasn't even sure it was her.  She has changed so much.  I'm really looking forward to getting vaccinated and being able to visit in person.

You are lucky that you will get to see your mom soon. My mom was in adult care home for 4 years when the pandemic hit. We were not able to see her until it was an end of life situation in August.  We saw her that day and she passed away the next day.  I will always hate this pandemic for not being able to spend time with my mom in the months before we lost her.

@LuvmyLab I'm so sorry for your loss!  My husband lost his father last September, but the facility let my husband in to see him before he passed.  It's heartbreaking!
