Re: Is It Uncomfortable To Drive At Night?

[ Edited ]

I can’t see a darn thing at night...the LED headlights used in some cars now are so bright they are blinding. Dr told me cataracts can cause night driving to be a problem for people before they even know they have cataracts. I have extreme photosensitivity since a surgery I had five years ago (not cataract surgery). I just don’t drive at night now. DH thinks he can see better at night than he really can...but I think he is starting to admit if we stay on lighted highways in familiar areas we are fine....unfamiliar areas with no lighting or poorly lit streets...forget it.

Re: Is It Uncomfortable To Drive At Night?

I don't mind driving on city streets at night, but I absolutely hate getting out on the interstates at night in my area. So - I don't! Hubby doesn't like driving at night either, so we do our best to just not do it. I guess it's an age thing - we're both retired.
