Is He Rude Or Am I A Pain?

My husband and I are retired and get along well...except for one thing. If I am reading, watching an engrossing TV program, or even talking on the phone, he enters the room and keeps talking to me even after I ask him to wait a moment. If I repeat my request, even if I explain why I ask him for one more moment of waiting, he becomes angry, even curses occasionally. I have told him I consider that behavior rude but I wonder...am I the rude one for asking him to wait a moment?
