@happycat, I would stay far away from off brand on Amazon. News reports and my own experience is proof that the products, even if you receive them, are terrible.

If you stalk Amazon, you might be able to grab a known brand or their own (Presto). But they go in a flash.

Dollar Tree has been a great source for all paper & cleaning products in my area....the thing you really have to search for is handwipes.

@kitcat51   in mine also. I was in one of the three I frequent yesterday. They had TP package of four rolls; the brands were Northern, Charmin, Angel Soft, and Strong and Soft.  There was a limit of four packs per customer. Same with paper towels. Bounty and Sparkle. Worked for me.

No wipes. No spray disinfectant but they did have Fabuloso. Only gloves were the rubber ones for dishwashing.

Our Dollar General and Family Dollar both were stocked yesterday.  I can't find any hand sanitizer, however.

We had a really good supply going in because I stocked up just before all of this started.  Literally, no limits, no talks of masks, all stores were still open. No idea of what we would be in for.  Target was running a promotion. Get a $15 free gift card with a $50 purchase from the cleaning, paper products, etc. dept.  While we already had a really good supply of tp at home (we always have a good supply of paper towels and tp) I wanted to take advantage of the deal so I stocked up on more tp and paper towels.

Then, a few weeks ago, I was on Costco's site and lucked into a 30 pack of Scott tp.   I bought that and they delivered it and I went on a local Facebook page and every time someone said they couldn't find tp I offered some to them, for free of course. No takers. I am more than happy to share.  I called both neighbors and told them that when they run low, to let me know and I'll help them out.  They haven't needed any so far.

I also (before the Costco purchase) bought two small backs of Northern from Amazon at normal price.

I am glad to have all this and am still more than happy to share with anyone around me who need some. Obviously, we will not have to buy any for a long time.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Yikes. Thanks for that info, I have plenty, but dd in another state was looking for some having a hard time. She finally found some charmin she was able to order from somewhere. I hope it is the real deal and she really recieves it. I can't remember the site she said she used, but she had never used it before and I never hard of it.

Its hard to believe people are still having trouble find toilet paper. We have plenty where we live, or else my dh just gets lucky when he goes to wal mart.

NO!

There are parts of the country where these items are extinct.

I read about people here finding it ant think maybe we will have it. It is so depressing to still not have it when others do.

Re: Is Everyone able to Find TP?

Our grocery store always has their own brand, which leads me to think they aren't getting all of their shipments for that area.

Ugh. I am trying to not buy anything from China. Of course thats easy now, as I seldom go anywhere except for grocery and medicine pick up.

Re: Is Everyone able to Find TP?

My grocery had loads of TP and some paper towels yesterday. But, no brand names. I had never seen these anywhere. They're labeled Kimberly-Clarke Mexico. Most package writing is in Spanish. It's clear our grocer acquired a truckload of these products from over the border. I applaud the efforts, with one minor reservation.

Oddly, the TP has a very strong smell of vanilla and the PT's are lavender. It's almost obnoxious.  I could smell the fragrance, one row over.

I'm just thankful that my grocer was resourceful enough to source some paper product for us, at a very reasonable price. I'll get used to it, after the nasal fatigue sets in. I think.
